Darna Care offers outreach support in Apeldoorn, Nijmegen, Arnhem and all surrounding villages and towns. Our support is there for young people and adults who could use a helping hand in their daily lives.
We support people in a vulnerable position. For example because of mental health problems, a mild intellectual disability, trauma, debts, addiction or an unstable home situation. Our personal and culturally sensitive approach helps clients regain control of their lives and work towards independence and self-confidence.
Personal outreach support in your own environment
Our outreach support is always personal and tailored to your needs. Together we look at which support is needed in different areas of life, such as:
- Living and housing
- Work or daytime activities
- School and study
- Dealing with addiction
- Financial matters or debts
- Contact with family, friends or care providers

How we work
At Darna Care we combine professional knowledge with a personal approach. We use the 8-phase model to guide clients step by step towards their goals. The client's wishes, strengths and network are central to this.
Our outreach support workers are experienced in supporting young people and adults from a wide range of backgrounds. We speak plain language, act quickly and keep contact easy and accessible. Also for referrers such as neighbourhood teams, GPs and youth care professionals.

Funding and signing up
Outreach support is funded through the Wmo (18+) or the Jeugdwet. For the Wmo, a personal contribution of no more than € 21,80 per month applies in 2026. You can sign up yourself or through a referrer.
