We are a small-scale, intercultural organisation with teams in Apeldoorn, Nijmegen and Arnhem. You get your own caseload, short lines with your coordinator and the freedom to do what works for your client. Many of our clients have an Arabic or Turkish background; if you speak one of those languages, that is a strong advantage.

Youth support worker (bachelor’s level, SKJ), GroeiHuis Apeldoorn
You support young people individually and in groups from a recovery-oriented and systemic perspective. Together with the young person, you draw up the support plan, monitor progress and evaluate the results. You identify obstacles, take action and work closely with partners in the chain, such as schools, neighbourhood teams and parents/carers.
Youth Care Worker (28–32 hours) – GroeiHuis Apeldoorn
As a youth care worker you support residents on their way to greater independence, personal growth and discovering their own strengths. You work on the basis of individual support plans, which young people draw up together with their personal support worker. You are responsible for carrying these out and you play a strong signalling role.
Outreach support worker (vocational or bachelor’s level), Arabic-speaking, Arnhem & Nijmegen region
Do you speak Arabic and want to support others on their way to independence? For our clients receiving outreach support in Arnhem and Nijmegen, we are looking for an outreach support worker who speaks Arabic. That way we connect even better with the world, culture and needs of the people we support. A vocational (mbo 4) or higher professional (hbo) diploma, both are welcome.
Internships
Darna Care is an accredited training company recognised by SBB. This means that as a vocational (mbo) student you learn under the expert guidance of a practical trainer, in a safe learning environment. Our internship places are listed on Stagemarkt.nl.
