Today our society is rich in diversity
Darna Care is a small-scale, accessible and intercultural care organisation. Darna Care is there for people with intellectual, mental and/or social difficulties who benefit from support to become an active part of society again. Increasing self-reliance and personal development is central to this.
Meet our teamDarna Care is committed to people in vulnerable situations, so that they can live full lives, as independently as possible.

Control over your own life
Our support covers every area of life. This includes housing, work, study, addiction, debts and relationships with family and friends. With our personal and professional approach to support, we want you to be able to take part in society as independently as possible. At Darna Care, you as a person come first, and together we look in the same direction. This means we look at your possibilities and at which support suits them. You get a fixed personal support worker, so that we can offer you structure and stability.
Our mission and visionBy deciding together with you what we are going to do and how we are going to do it, we give you support where it is needed. We stand by you in making your own decisions, within the scope of your possibilities.

Our Mission
In our services, the needs of the person receiving care come first. We act in the interest of the person receiving care. We focus on strengthening their own capabilities and increasing their self-reliance. Together with the person receiving care, we look at the possibilities within their network and, where possible, make use of them. Not the limitations, but the possibilities of the people we care for are at the heart of what we do.
We provide culturally sensitive care. In our multicultural society, we offer tailored support and in this way keep our services accessible. We say what we do and do what we say!
Our Vision
At the heart of our vision is the wellbeing of vulnerable people (not their illness or impairment), building on their own strength and will, in the place where they feel at home (often at home or in their own neighbourhood), with the support of those close to them and, ultimately, their personal development.
Everyone has the right to attention and respect, while maintaining or developing self-reliance, future prospects and meaningful daytime activities. We seek to connect with organisations that, like us, strive for housing, work and participation.
